About Us

A group of AMU School well-wishers and Alumni of Minto Circle have decided to support selected students at AMU affiliated Schools for their educational needs. Some scholarships will be named on prominent alumni or teachers

Our Mission

No Student shall drop out of AMU schoolsdue to lack of financial resources or guidance (Mentorship).

Goal

  • ● Provide scholarships on Merit-cum-Means basis
  • ● Provide Mentorship to first generation learners

Students at following AMU affiliated schools are included in our scholarship program. Named Scholarships for the academic session 2021-2022 are listed below

Our Program
Updates for Academic Year 2021-2022

  • Scholarships: We have provided scholarships to 150 students.
  • Mentorship: We are providing mentorship to students through zoom meetings.
  • Books and Supplies: We have provided school textbooks to 20 students.
  • School Uniform: In progress,in academic year 2021-2022 classes were conducted online due to COVID-19 Pandemic

Selection Process

  • ● Principal of the school provides the list of students who are on the verge of dropping out due to financial constraints.
  • ● Local Scholarship award committee conducts the Interview at Aligarh to shortlist the potential awardees
  • ● Final selection of scholarship recipients is done after verification of financial needs
  • ● School Fees is directly deposited in schools
  • ● Books and School Uniforms are provided through our contracted vendors

Ibn Sina Academy of Medieval Medicine and Sciences

Abu Ali Ibn Sina is a well-known personality among the physicians of Unani medicine and scientists of physical sciences since medieval times. To commemorate and to institutionalize an academy named after him, Ibn Sina Academy of Medieval Medicine & Sciences was founded on March 1, 2000. The Academy has been registered under Indian Trusts Act, 1882 and was formally inaugurated on April 20, 2001. Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India gave accreditation to the academy in 2004 and promoted it as ‘Centre of Excellence’ in 2008. The Academy is now a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization with multiple aims and objectives.
